If Pavlik wins and stays at 160, I wanna see him fight Abraham for the other belt. If he goes to 168, I would love to see a fight against Calzaghe or Kessler.

    :good

Except maybe Calzaghe. Something tells me that Calzaghe would just make him look bad

Logically Abraham but Clazaghe would be the best payday.

Put Pavlik with Duddy in a keep busy fight on the same card with Abraham fighting someone in USA like a Giovanni Lorenzo/Sergio Mora type, with winners fighting each other later in the year.
Would build wickedly to a awesome matchup.:deal

There has been a lot of talk about Duddy, and that would be a big pay day for eveyone invovled, but I voted for Abraham. The guy with the goofy hat is tailor made for Pavlik. I do not agree with those who think it would be a war for at least 4 reasons:

    1) There is a huge size difference. Arthur is only 5'10" and looks like he could make 154. Pavlik is over 6'2" and basically a LHW who some how manages to sweat down to 160.

    2) Strength: There is no doubt in my mind that Pavlik can man handle Arthur anytime he wants to.

    3) Workrate: I'm sure Abraham has had rounds that were exceptional, but most of the time he only works about 30-45 seconds out of each round. Pavlik works every minute of every round.

    4) There is a lot of truth to the old adage "Styles make fights." Style wise Pavlik is Abraham's worst nightmare. Arthur spents a **** load of time in the corners and on the ropes, and that is EXACLTY where Pavlik would want him. Pavlik is at his best and most dangerous when his opponent allows him to turn the ring into a phone booth, and Arthur would volunteer for it.

Pavlik KO5 Abraham in a one sided beat down.

I agree with most of what you say but keep in mind that Abraham has been working on his strength training lately. He is a complete power MONSTER these days with (I believe) better one-punch power than Pavlik. If he catches Pavlik flush with that power, which is most certainly possible given Pavs defense, he can certainly put him down (and maybe for good). That being said I take Pavlik to win this fight by 8th round ko, but wouldn't be at all surprised to see Abraham get the hayemaker ko.

I suppose we have to give Abraham a punchers chance. As I've watched Kelly progress over the last few years he has looked better everytime out. He is a good student of the game who seems to get better with each fight. After the debacle in round 2 of the Taylor fight I'd bet my bottom dollar that Jack Leow has had Kelly working on his defense. So theoretically Arthur will face an even better version of Kelly than Taylor faced. That diminishes the "punchers chance" by quite a bit. Remember years ago when Tyson said "Everyone has a plan to beat Mike Tyson until I hit 'em in the mouth." I think it's a lot the same with Kelly. Opponents come in with a fight plan that makes sense, and then they get hit with a few 1-2 combos, a bunch of jabs, and a couple lead rights, and the plan goes out the window.

I completely agree, and I hope he is working on defense because if he can get better in that area I don't see too many (if any) that can beat him :D

Did you and the suprisingly high number of people who are callling for JT to win the rematch, not see Pavlik stick his chin out after getting hit 5 times to prove he's a badass, then Taylor caught him with two more bombs to finally put him down. Then Kelly get's up and after the cobwebs are cleared kick's Taylor's ass for the rest of the fight minus the 5th round and leave Jermaine in a heap in the corner.

You think Kelly's gonna give up a free shot again? I think not. Unless he suddenly becomes Pernell Whittaker, JT is in trouble.
