Who should Price's "redemption" opponent have being?

If Price wants a decent test then Sprott would be a good option....

 

it wouldn't have been redemption against anyone other than the man who beat him though

 

Could have done worse than Sprott but I think they really wanted an american name on his resume.

The issue I have with Price's step up was his lack of rounds, before any type of step up in level you really need to have gone the distance at least once with an opponent that challenged you. Maybe they didn't hit you much but they were awkward, they asked questions of you, they made you think, they made you learn how to pace yourself when you can't blow them out the water.

If those questions had been asked of Price before he faced Thompson he may have been able to identify issues like, sloppy jab, poor inside technique and the most important of all, stamina. Price was absolutely ruined after 3 rounds, I know it was a tough fight but how can a pro athlete be spent after just 9 minutes? He was so exhausted he just fell apart and didn't have the energy to fight back, the evidence of that is there from his amateur days and it needed to be addressed badly.
