With PBF and Calzaghe officially being "retired" I think there is
a bunch of other guys who even more deserves this status.

    Who you like to retire?

Evander Holyfield- He's one of my favorites and he's fighting on too long..I hate to see a fighter go through a tough life because he didnt know when to call it quits.

All of them - sounds like a reasonable list.

I personally think Barrera has still tools to get belt at 135lb and become 4 division champion.

Also Toney and Golota did not achieved their fully deserved
dreams of being legitimate HW champion of the world .....

Other guys from the list have no point to continue.

    Can I just select all.
Hopkins is still good, but I dont wanna see him fighting til he has nothing left and it gets embarrassing.

All those guys listed above should retire ... no matter if they have something left in the tank or not ... they are holding back some young up and comer from getting the spot light put on them. Alot of those guys are just living off of their name to get paid.

Shane Mosley should retire - he has nothing else to prove ... let Berto, Williams, Cotto, and Margarito do their thing.

Vernon Forrest should retire - fighting once a year and babysitting a title, pricing yourself out of big fights, there's nothing else to gain for him.

Glenn Johnson should retire - he's probably reached his peak and if keeps going, he's just going to keep compaining about losing close fights ... Hey Glenn you're old ... give it up and let a young dude shine or accept the role as a gatekeeper.

Antonio Tarver - Please give it up or run the risk of getting knocked the **** out --

These older guys have their experience to rely on and maybe some tricks of the trade but when it comes down to winning a close fight, the judges and the majority of the public is going to go for the younger guy.

    More fighters who should retire:
    Zahir Raheem
    Marco Antonio Barrera
    Hasim Rahman
    James Toney
    John Ruiz
    Chris Bryd
    Javier Castillejo
    Jose Luis Castillo
    Verno Phillips
    William Joppy
    Carlos Baldomir
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Joel Casamayor

just curious why should tua fight on but not austin, golota, and sam for instance whom at least have had decent performances within the past few years whereas tua hasn't even fought someone with a pulse in 5 years. guess he has taken less damage but c'mon the guy can't even train. meehan should retire because he's a bum
