For me it would be Maidana. I could see him easily winning that with a great deal of entertainment. If not Witter.

    Witter.

They're both shot and past it so may as well make it. And settle an old score.

MM would destroy him at this stage of Ricky's career.

I'd have him face somebody who is ranked just outside of the Domestic top 5.

Maidana would not destroy Hatton, he couldn't destroy anyone that is of high class.

That is just stupid that would mean he is facing someone like Colin Lynes

I think Mike Jones would be a great idea actually. Good thinking.

Indeed I am speculating. But, if you know anything about anything then you'd surmise that after 3 years out living the lifestyle that Hatton has then it's quite likely that at 33 he's going to be a shell of his former self on the come back. I appreciate that you're probably a Hatton nut hugger and want him to roll back the years. Sadly for you, reality tends to roll the dice differently.

He may not be as good as he was previously but it isn't like he is in his late 30's so he could still have some years left in him. I'm not a nuthugger at all mate I just don't think you can pass him off a shot on no evidence
