Just want to bump my post and say it is one of the best posts on this thread. No responses for a reason.

Agbeko called out Rigo on the scene about 2 weeks ago.

To Rigo fans, this means that Rigo is "shamefully ducking."

    Oh my, that is cute...

The moment I read that I thought of Dunne and Lee, like, wow, the times when it doesn't hurt to jump on boxrec right quick to see if you're making an ass of oneself... Especially when nobody on here knows **** about Poonsawat and probably hasn't even seen the impressive KO3 Dunne fight.

  4. Even after reading everyones suggestions, I still stand by my 4 names.

I don't know why Donaire's fans don't want him to fight Rigondeaux. Rigondeaux is by far more skilled than Donaire, but is pure GLASS. In 12 rounds he will get caught with a hard and Donaire will finish him.

You, Donaire fans, should start praising for the fight getting done soon to add a victory and a tittle to your idol's career.

Else he will be remembered as a chicken runner.

  6. Donaire fought Nishioka
    Mares is fighting Moreno

Who has Rigo fought at that standard.

Super bantam is a stacked division yet Rigo can't get a good fighter to fight him.

Dude needs to fight some top names first.

LOL @ some Donaire fans here thinking Montiel would stand as a better win than Rigo. :patsch

He doesn't have to fight Poon but a fighter of that level or higher would be the best opponent for him to prove he's the real deal. Kennedy is and ESPN level fighter and was coming off of a very good fight that ended in a far draw against another ESPN level fighter. Marriquin has fought no one of any note and not to long ago lost a decision to a complete journey men. He might be a good fighter but please show he proof. He got dominated but Rigo and outside of two left hooks that managed to rock Rigo he did nothing in the fight. And honestly didnt even really try.

Casey was a green nobody and Rigo treated him as such.

Ramos has never looked impressive. Not in his win vs shobox before he won the title and definitely not winning the title. The guy did absolutely nothing for more then 6 rounds before having 1 punch save him. Just the single punch. And Ramos isn't even a puncher and Shimodo isn't exactly a proven iron chinned fighter. He was dropped by Lee in his previous fight. You can even walk away from that saying "wow Ramos can change a fight with one punch" because he can't. It was the closest thing to a lucky punch that you can get. Abduction against Rigo he did even less even before getting dropped then after that he was like a hermit crab. And honestly just gave up when he felt a decent body shot and Rigo honestly shouldve token that deer in head lights out much sooner. And Rico just barely won his next fight against a nobody.

His best win is Corboda which was a good win esp that early in his career but he was dropped and honestly stunk out the place. He didn't look impressive at all. And every fight after this outside of Ramos they put him against a pressure fighter that fit right into his style.

Rigo needs a to fight someone that can push him and test him. He needs to fight a proven top guy to show he is at that level that everyone thinks he is. He does that then a fight with Donaire would make sense and it would be warranted. Right now if they fought a Donaire won a Rigo just retires WHO THE **** is gonna look at that win with anything real career meaningful? That win would be forgetten before Donaire retires.

Im not hating or nut hugging. Everything I said is true and please if Im wrong show me.

  9. I agree with you on somethings it would seem.

Half the people in this thread probably have seen a Donaire fight before Montiel except Darchinyan and just the Ko not even the whole ass whooping.

  11. His performance against Siderenko was probably the best he has in recent years.

    Punch perfect performance.

As a fan I want it to mean something when it does.

This is lime Ward and Bute. Ward told him to fight someone and Bute did and he got dominated. Rigo needs to take that same test if he passes it Nonito has to make the fight. Until then Rigo can fight all the fight C and B level opponents he wants opening ppv's.

And Sidorenko beat Agbeko, Poon and had two draws against Corboda and he was robbed both in Germany.

And just before he fought Donaire he lost to close decision to Moreno.

Donaire beat the **** out of him like it was a showcase and no one regonzines ir acknowledges that win.

  15. Tough fighter Siderenko, does the fundamentals very very well.

Similar to Kotelnik, gave Moreno some very difficult fights.

If you didn't know Siderenko you would think he was just a bum because of how Donaire made him look.

I like Rigo and his style impresses me, but that is perceived ability the dude needs to prove that ability in the ring against top class opponents.
