Now here's another one of our better fighters that simply doesn't stay active. Had the world at his feet when he won the US contender & then..............sits on the sidelines drifting slowly into oblivion, then fights a tune up that goes half a round & wonders why when he gets a shot against a top liner he just falls short.
I met Sakio after the Green-Tarver fight, he's one cool cat....Bit hard to understand but Didnt talk long because plenty people hanging aroung wanting to chat but he did say he had something lined up for october :think
Sherro has privately wanted to fight him for a while...he knows there's nothin' in it for him except that a win would make the yanks take some notice...he also acknowledges that it's a very risky fight.
