Knowing Setanta they'll probably get Paul Parker or Steve Claridge in

I remember it. The main commentator was Dave Brenner. He was pretty good. Setanta could do worse than dig him up if he's still around, Joe Kinnear style but without the ****s

Buncey just said a guy called David Croft from 5live will be partnering Woodhall for the next few fights.

:good Top quality man on the mic is Steve , funny as hell at times especially when things are going slow he makes some of these Eurosport fights almost worth watching and he pops's up on ESB main board from time to time .

When ITV went back into boxing they tried a few out didn't they including Jim Neilly and Steve Holdsworth. Steve would have to tone down the irrevelance a bit I think and his scoring of the fight as if his scorecard counts for something that is irritating.

David Croft does Formula 1 I think on 5Live so with that finishing soon he will be available. Does he know anything about boxing? As long as he doesn't talk all over it and gives space for the pundit to talk I don't mind really.

The worst commentator by a long way is 'the Colonel' BoB Sheridan who never ever shuts up.

He's great. He's good natured and adds to the occasion.
It's his job to never shut up, it's what they pay him for!

I was watching Kessler vs Calzaghe tonight and when Kessler was about to make his entrance Rawling said 'the dutch have come out to support Kessler'

No, he was with ITV before Setanta. I've heard him do football games recently and he must be full-time now with them.

John left the BBC after 32 years of service and joined ITV in 2005. He worked for Setanta when ITV had an open night. That deal is over. Now John and Duke deliver Milk Tray in their figure hugging all black outfits. He will be missed by all his dear friends in the Setanta parish.

    Adios.

Whats with the Milk Tray fixation Bunce; that's two or three times you have mentioned it.

PS: Please don't call the Setanta presenter "Big Boy" anymore; its losing you a bit of street cred.

There was a classic advert on TV in the 70s and 80s which featured a man in black on the edge of a cliff or up a mountain. There would be dramatic music. He would perform amazing stunts of bravery to deliver a box of Milk Tray and when he placed the chocolates on his lover's bed the ad would end with a husky voice saying ..."and all because the ladies love Milk Tray". When I saw John and Duke in their black outfits I knew their special ladies would be getting the chocolates that night.

    Adios.

Buncey is right, the ITV boxing show last week had the 'Milk Tray' man unmasked!
