you give me a fitter heavy with compparible skills to big john and fury would have lost again last night , one official and one unofficial
I would like to see a stay busy fight, with him getting some quality sparring/training. Then if he shows improvement stick him in with Marty Rogan.
You're obviously biased. WHY would you put him in with someone that dangerous at this stage of his career unless you were hoping to see him take a fall (like you are) This was a good enough test for him, especially considering McDermott had already given Fury a good going over last September. The kid had hardly any amateur fights, yet in few pro fights has already taken on two stern challenges with a seasoned domestic operator. It's called building, not lion feeding. Okay, he's nowhere near the finished article. The fact he can beatcDermott with so many glaring weaknesses says a lot for his heart and toughness. Those are things you cannot teach. Admittedly, I will lose faith and stop supporting him if he fails to show dedication when he males a big step up in class or has a fight with someone who doesn't have McDermotts shortcomings. For example, I would expect Fury to take a fight with either Chisora or Sexton very seriously, and for his waistband to reflect this.
Coleman Barrett is a good shout. Smaller, but fairly fast and busy. A stay busy fight but with a new style in front of him. If that's too soft, Larry O or Tom Dallas would do IMO, not much in class but big lumps. Mind you, if Maloney would be willing to offer those up, he might as well give Price the nod, who could learn/achieve more in one fight with Fury than all of his current pro fights put together.
Larry is a good shout, you start over protecting these fighters. You want someone who is going to fight back the Irish guy is another decent shout. Get wins and titles against these fighters and you are on the right track. I personally would go Larry o then Coleman then see if he is near to Chisora's level.
new trainer and new fitness coach and new promoter........ his corner was madness . as much as his dad loves him he needs to step the **** back , kerry keys used to do a great job with hatton and a promoter who can get him some good sparring ffs. send him to america for a month , they will be queing up to spar him . when he comes back either scott gammer or paul butlin. he is only 21 and needs to be moved at the right pace but needs top sparring and conditioning otherwise hes got no chance.
chisora is full of ****. he's just a dick hed thats been thrown in the lime light coz he keeps beating bums an shot fighter. as soon as he fights someone fresh an hungry like fury or even rogan he will get knocked out an no one will even remember him. but he wont fight them he'll fight non hitters like sexton an sprott. someone he can go 12 rounds with an bore us to death.
this was in referance to the mcdermott fight not any future fights , i was simply stating his level and that to say hes lucky to have his is an understatement all he has to do for me is get in shape not david haye proportions just in good shape and ill get right behind him
The obvious answer is Michael Sprott. A former champ and a decent name but damaged goods now and the timing is right for Fury to finish him off. As much as I hate to say it I think Chisora will have too much for him at this moment in time.
