Who should Usyk’s first fight be at heavyweight?

The winner of Whyte-Chisora, if not, Parker would be an interesting challenge.

 

Someone mentioned Joyce. I think it would be interesting, but, I think that would be too much for his first fight. Usyk comfortably beat Joyce in the amateurs, but in the pros, at least for Usyk's first fight, he might end up biting off more than he can chew.

 

pulev hes awful.

 

Yeah, can't believe Top Rank is wasting money on him. Five years ago maybe I could understand but very little upside now.

Usyk vs. Pulev would be fairly boring tbh.

 

I reckon Takam is cooked... put a fork in him...

I'd like to see him in the with Povetkin. 2 very skilled fighters. I thinknthat would be a great fight.

 

I would like to see Usyk vs Luis Ortiz myself. 2 skilled boxers that would give the fans a good scrap

Just to dip his toes in the water and get everyone drooling over how good he can be at HW. After that is when the real fun starts There's gonna be a lot of butthurt on forums like this.

Needs to be matched with one of the bigger lumps. We know Usyk has the skills to beat almost all of them. What we dont know is how well he can handle guys considerably bigger than him, whether he can make a dent in them, and whether he can handle being tagged back..

 

Miller would be hilarious, probably not ideal for his first fight though.
