No he didn't Belly's losses Loss 1 Belly lost to John McDermott Loss 2 Should've been DQ'd for fouling featherfisted CW Cunningham who was whooping his ass Loss 3 Should've lost to Wallin as that fight would've 100% been stopped had Wallin been the one who suffered a cut that bad
With Cowardly Belly happy to keep finding the lowest sanctioned threats above 250lb there really isn't much Usyk can do. He could fight Wilder to get another name on his resume, nobody else around is going to add anything to it. Hrgovic will be a blip in history.
John McDermott Fought a PEACH of a fight and beat your hero. 33- This content is protected This content is protected
Usyk has said previously if no Fury fight he would retire, then a while later he said if no Fury fight he would fight Wilder. Firstly if no Fury fight then BIG questions are going to be asked as well as PLENTY of accusations as to why this fight is not happening,so if no Fury fight for Usyk then it has to be Wilder the other standout of this era .
Wilder was not a standout. He has a padded record from beating cans and the best win on his record is an old limited Ortiz. Gimme a ****ing break.
Gotta fight again this year and fight Hrgovic and get it out the way, if he wins. Then next year the dosser, if not then the rest off the options. If he doesn't fight again this year, I'm stepping off the wagon, he'd be just wasting whatever is left of his career.
Wilder would override the legacy problem with Fury, meaning that if he could beat Wilder and AJ, then he goes above Fury. Fury wants to deny him the top spot by not fighting him, perhaps, but this is the way around it. Problem is that it would be at least two fights with Wilder, which is dangerous.
In lieu of fighting Fury, I'm okay with him taking on Hrgovic and the Zhang/Joyce winner, hopefully Zhang. I like Joe Joyce and I'm not necessarily rooting against him, I just want the Big Bang to win more. We already saw Joe and Usyk fight years ago and while he has improved since then, I don't see the fight being all that much different now. When I first got into boxing a couple years back Usyk and Zhang were some of the first boxers that caught my attention, but I never thought they'd actually face off, don't think I even considered the possibility til Zhang got tapped for the IBF final eliminator with Hrgovic. Now there's a very real chance, and as a fan of both guys I'm pretty excited. I know it would likely end with Usyk quickly wearing out Zhang's gas tank and winning a wide decision, but I'd still love to see these two guys in the ring together. Have yet to see a fight where I'm a big fan of both boxers, so I think it'd be a cool experience. And after that I'd like to see Usyk get one more good win. Wilder would be nice, but I got a feeling him and Fury are both in the same mode right now, fighting for as much cash and with as little risk as possible. WBC are apparently going to be ordering a new final eliminator in a couple of months, and I doubt they'll actually force Fury to fight them if he says he doesn't want to, so that could be a neat fight for Usyk, depending on who it is. Ruiz would be alright too, he hasn't been near as impressive since he beat AJ but he still wouldn't be a bad scalp to go out on. AJ, Dubois, Hrgovic, Zhang and Ruiz wouldn't be a bad list of defenses for an guy that moved up to heavyweight when he got the belts. Or he could fight the Bridgerweight champ Lukasz Rozanski. It wouldn't technically be for undisputed, but no other organizations recognize that weight class and Rozanski is the heaviest WBC champion that's shown an intention to defend his title, so.... it'd be a thing that happened, I guess
“Gimme a ****ing break” pure attention seeking drama Queen ! The four standout Heavyweights of this era like it or not are Fury Wilder Joshua Usyk. Wilder is Furys second biggest win after Wlad and as Usyk has already beaten Joshua not once but twice if there is no Fury fight for Usyk then going after Wilder who is still an active fighter and Fury’s biggest win at this time makes absolute sense. Currently Fury is the only fighter to beat Wilder and Fury has said many times that Wilder is the second best Heavyweight after himself. Should Usyk fight and beat Wilder then not only does it make a big statement but it also takes away a lot of the prestige of Fury’s win over Wilder . If Fury won’t fight Usyk then Usyk himself needs to go after Furys biggest win available which is Wilder and this is coming from a Fury fan .
Stop spitting all over yourself. Wilder is a tomato can opener, nothing more. He’s never beaten a great HW. Fat slob feather fisted Fury stopped him twice. To consider him a great HW is pure lunacy since he has virtually no boxing skills except a right hand. Come on man!
