Vlad will fight Povetkin for the IBF mandatory and he will fight Toney Thompson for the WBO mandatory. Should he knock out Povetkin first or Thompson?

Valouev will get a rematch with Chagaev and Don King owns part of Valouev.

I was not impressed with Thompson when I saw his sometime back. Anyone seen him fight lately?

Thompson most likely, hope Povetkin's team don't think they're ready for Wlad.

I hope he fights Thompson. Wlad seems to excel and really go for the
K.O. when he fights a man his size. We'll find out just how good this
Thompson guy is. I'd like to see a competitive fight and see someone
    force Wlad to fight.

Thompson is not a pushover, though Wlad should be able to handle him. He does nothing great, but he knows his limitations, and I don't think he will be afraid of Wlad.

Consider that Thompson took up boxing at age 27. Imagine any athlete in any pro sport beginning at 27 and making it to the top 20 of the world...I have tons of respect for such a feat, no matter how limited Thompson is.

The Povetkin fight will be interesting. Would be better if Povetkin got to develop a bit more first though.

    One thing's for certain:

If he fights Thompson the haters will claim he's avoiding Povetkin and vise-versa.

If he dominates & outpoints his way to a UD vs. either of them he'll be considered "gun-shy" and cowardly. If He KO's either one early they'll claim he's only fighting bums. If he KO's them late they'll say "what took him so long" :rofl

It's really a no win situation.
