He obviously isnt getting a title shot anytime soon until he wins some fights and I dont think Liddell-Silva 2 means much at this time although it was dam good. I hear Vitor is trying to get back into the UFC id love Belfort-Silva 2 or even Wandy to get a rematch vs Ortiz or **** Silva vs Houston Alexander would be nuts while it lasted. I myself would dig somewhat of a tuneup bout with Stephan Bonnar on a Spike TV card.

maybe, but he has good entertainment value...actually bonnar would be a good fight....to see the 2 former pride best 205's get beat by the 2 original TUF guys...that would be fun to watch.

No it wouldnt. It would only show you how far Wandy has fallen.Bonnar isnt fit to carry his spit bucket. And **** Forrest Griffin.

I'm sure you said Forrest didn't deserve to carry Shoguns spitbucket either.

Jardine I feel he matches well with Silva style wise.

    :?:?:?:?

I'm still gutted Shogun lost to Griffin, he was so sloppy and so slow, he gassed within 1 round, it was incredible........I guess I kind of like Griffin as well but still, Shogun is (or was) the ****ing man. He obliterated the current UFC lhw champ at 23 like it was nothing, cleaned out the Pride lhw division within a few months (save Wand) and imo probably should be an MMA HoF'er for what he did in 2005 alone.

    He WILL be back.

Bonnar, decent name value and I don't think Wandy would have too much trouble with him.

I disagree, Bonnar is a stylistic nightmare for Wanderlei, his biggest problem against Liddell was the size and reach, Bonnar is even bigger than Liddell so would pose giant problems for Wand, Bonnar has good fundamental boxing skills and a long reach, I see him keeping Wand at bay for decision.

I don't think he carries the same fear of trying to get inside that Liddell poses.

Bonnar is fighting Matt Hamil guys.

even though he is was past his prime, silva doe not deserve to be on a spike tv card. you have to give the man his due respect
