    I don’t know why he’s fighting in September as the winner of Fury/ Wilder should be giving Whyte a crack at the WBC period

    I'm not sure I see the point in him fighting Ortiz in a way...

    If Whyte wins, Ortiz is old & shot, plus never had a decent resume to begin with - so no real credit for winning.
    And if Ortiz wins, Whyte has lost to another old man who's clearly past his best - so another major career knock.

    Sure it might be an interesting bout, but I don't see him wanting to take it.

    Whyte-Joyce makes more sense.

    Heck, in some ways Pulev makes more sense than Ortiz too (though still old and past his best)
