Baldy beat Clottey. Did you see that fight? No, but let me guess. You read/heard that Clottey was winning and got dq'd unfairly?

He beat the undisputed champ Lance, he also had a win over Clottey(although it wasn't without controversey).

Now you're being ridiculous. Baldo's win streak in itself is not that significant. However, when you combine it with the fact the he beat the undisputed champ, that's impressive.

Cintron was paper champ that never beat anyone of note. Buf if you want to count him that's fine. If Cintron was a top Welter, then so was Quintana. That would be 3 top top guys for Margo and 2 for Williams.

Please, none of those guys were top guys. You're trying to boast these guys because of their ring ranking but then you denigrate Baldo who was the ring champ. Forget Baldo though, this is about Margo and Williams. You say Margo beat the top guys and Williams needs to do the same. Well, I count 3 top guys for Margo and 2 for Williams. And Margo has been fighting in the division a lot longer. Williams is a top Welter now, and has more than shown that he is worthy to fight any other welter out there.

Reg...I am aware of that. Just because baldomir was the undisputed champ, that doesn't make him on par with every other WW champ. that;s pretty ridiculous to even suggest.

Anyone other champ then Judah, Baldomir goes home a loser. or in reality, doesn't even GET a world title shot. If you want to argue the quality of Baldomir it's been done to death. He did nothing before OR after his reign. You don't see people touting Leon Spinks as some great win. Even for a faded Ali.

Whether he was or not, he wass till seen as one of the top guys in the division. He was also ranked. Quintana only got his high ranking after he beat Willaims.
