He is the same level as Virchis or Sanders is, isnt he?

I would bet that Virchis, Sanders against Briggs would be a pick em fight.

They all get KO'd early and beaten easily.

This is just a keep busy fight anyway.

I think it is (if Rahman wins his next fight against Dicky Ryan).

And also a close fight against Chagaev.

Briggs didn't deserve to fight Liakhovich fought he fought and won. Nobody complains. You don't have to be an accomplished heavyweight to get a title shot.

Atleast Briggs has had big fights in the past prior to that title shot and a crap load of KO vicotires in a rowe got him there. Virchis would get KO'd by the 3rd round against Wlad.

oops double post, ah well hopefully we see Wlad fight again this year anyways. Whether its Briggs or not I just think that if someone calls someone out and there isnt a great choice of opponents than that should be reason enough especially considering Briggs was just a championa few months ago.

I don't think Wlad would be able to KO Virchis, his chin seems pretty solid. I would also pick Virchis over Briggs at this point.

briggs, rahman, toney are logical. he can't fight "What's his name again?" in the garden, he would have problems selling it out. it also would be a waste of time to fight a complete unknown, which he probably already knocked out in sparring.

I suppose in a financial sense Briggs at The Garden would be a good fight for Wlad. He would most likely look good against a well known fighter in the US, and would probably be able to sell out the fight. Meaningless fight, but a good way to increase his profile here.
