OK, we all know that Haye will be number one opponent. However, I'm interested in your guys opinion. Who else should he fight before he retires.

    I have:
Haye, Povetkin, Valuev ( this is the fight Im most eager to see apart form Haye), Arreola, Peter, Boytsov, Adamek, Solis. I think that anyone of them would be a good fight for Wlad and it would be a credible opponent for his resume.
    Thoughts please:think

I think it's really less who should Wlad fight and more who should be fighting each other amongst his prospective opponents. Why send in a Solis and a Boytsov when they haven't even been tested against another serious prospect like...themselves? Let's see Peter beat an Arreola or Solis beat a Gomez or Boytsov beat an Adamek before sending them in against a Wladimir. These guys need more fights with other contenders on their records.

    in this order:
povetkin, haye, adamek, solis, boytsov and if peter is ready and in shape. this will take at least 3 years. so thats all, after that he would probably retire.
he would have a record like this 60-3 with 54ko. thats impressive and this competition is not that bad to be honest, it's quite good:deal

I agree with you. I want to see them fight Wlad only when they are at least fought some decent competition that could indicate their true talent. I think only Chambers and Povetkin fought a good comp. Chambers actually has a better competition, fighting Povetkin, Peter, and Dimitrenko. Thats how a real prospect becomes a contender. Unlike Arreola, who didnt had a good preparation for the title fight. Mccline is not gonna cut it.

Yeah, these fights would be nice. I especially want to see Valuev fight. Haye should be interesting but Valuev would be unusual seeing Wlad being a smaller man.

Haye, Povetkin, Solis, Valuev(his brother can take this one), Areolla, Boytsov and then Pulev or Wilder. And if he beats them all i can see him moving up at HW atg list.

    Solis.
And couple more. He can hang around until new ones arrive. Pulev or Wilder.
Division is not ****, the top guys are to dominant and not fighting each other. Thats the only problem.

Arreola should not be mentioned in any conversation regarding World title fights - He has proven in his two biggest fights that he is one-dimensional , easy to hit and worst of all a cry baby.

Please omit him from future discussions

    Valuev and Haye.
The fact that he and Valuev have not already met is a travesty, seeing as they have both been around at the top for some years now. It seems neither of them really want to fight each other. And, he has to get Haye after making that nifty call out video.

Couldn't agree more, great post. :thumbsup

Instead of sitting on a title shot and simply waiting their turn, these contenders should be weeding themselves out a little bit more to see who really deserves the shot against Wlad.

Boytsov, Solis, Povetkin, Adamek, and Peter are the 5 guys right now who need to have at least one or two fights between each other to determine who the next man up is. There's a few more prospects working their way up to contender status, but it's probably too soon to start pairing them off just yet.

Didn't Wlad wanted to want Valuev? Valuev refused so Wlad went on to fight Chagaev.
I'm almost 100% sure that Valuev doesn't want to fight the Klitschkos. Shame, caz this might have been a good fight.

    The only fight that makes any sense. The one that is WAY pastdue. The one labeled;
The battle of the Super Steroid Monsters!

    Vlad Vs Vitali
