German media saying that Boytsov is the most likely candidate for early 2014. He's WBO mandatory? I can't believe that but that's what the article said.
Hopefully it's not Boytsov. Wlad should first fight one of the Ring top ten heavyweights who isn't scheduled or he hasn't fought yet: his IBF mandatory Kubrat Pulev #1, Chris Arreola #8, or Odlanier Solis #9. Bermane Stiverne would be okay too, but he's WBC mandatory. Then, he should look to fight the winner of Haye-Fury (or possibly the winner of Adamek-Glazkov).
freedom2013, Averamek against klitschko? Didn't you see what happened last time? He looked like a 6 year old boy trying to wrestle his daddy. Poor adamek, that was embarrasing.
He needs to just fight the 4 or so remaining fighters that are undefeated and retire. Just take zeros there really isn't anything for him to do after that.
I've never really considered Adamek a very good heavyweight. The only reason he's highly rated is because there is a terrible crop of fighters unwilling to consistently fight one another.
These zeros dont mean anything when they are protected! Boytsov, wilder havent even fought anybody good!
The whole damn Division has been protected except the Klitschko's. Pulev has a few good wins though I don't see the big deal about him like others do. He should fight Pulev, Fury, Helenius, Wilder, Boytsov and call it a day. He has beat everyone else.
If Haye somehow manages to further disfigure himself, Fury should fight Arreola, that would be fun.... and both would actually show up.
I'd like to see that fight as well, but I think Fury needs one more good win, ideally against a former K2 opponent. Right now it's just not that credible.
After his war with Povetkin, Wlad's earned himself at least a couple years of easy fights at home against the likes of Pianeta, Mormeck, & Wach.
You left out chisora! he beat the crap out of helenius... and has done more in his last 2 fights than wilder and boytsov in their whole career
