I could actually see him beating Okolie, so of the presented options, probably him. Apparently this was an eliminator to fight Goulamirian, despite it being a catchweight between two guys fighting within the division limit for the first time and being only ten rounds. Goulamirian has a bunch of legal stuff going on with his promotional company though, and this is the same guy who didn't defend for three years, so who the hell knows when that could be made. Guess he could get stripped and Zurdo fight someone else for it.
He doesn't deserve a title shot yet so I would like to see him take on Riakporhe. Riakporhe is a tough guy and would provide a rugged challenge for Zurdo. This bout would a good title challenge eliminator.
munguia is the poster child now sure. Canelo & Ryan were both being moved Carefully. vergil Ortiz has been taking his sweet Texas time as-well. it was Canelo who demanded trout & Lara Just as it was Ryan that demanded Tank against De La Hoya’s advice. Kudos to Oscar for allowing them (all be it reluctantly). it’s no mystery why Canelo left & why Ryan also wants out - & is sure to split as soon as he can. now the rest of Oscar’s roster yeah they get fed to each other the hard way. Oscar the boxer had balls Oscar the promoter? Not so much. (Rightfully so)
Again, aside Munguia, which top fighter has been so protected? I mean, even Munguia was supposed to fight Golovkin, but the commission didn't approve. I'm just calling you out because if you want to hate on GBP by all means do so, but hating on them for matching their fighters lightly is definitely not the reason.
Canelo and Ryan were under CONTRACT. If GBP didn't really want them to fight Trout, Lara and Tank, they had the legal rights to reject those fights. It's marketing bro.. don't be simple.
