frampton does want it but he doesn't want to be screwed and see him give up home advantage and possibly receive a smaller purse than quigg the lesser draw the 1,5 million offer reminds me of Floyds 40 million to pacman despite it looking great was actually a bad offer
Here we go round the mulberry bush The mulberry bush, the mulberry bush Here we go round the mulberry bush So early in the morning...
But then why not except the 60-40 split to the winner, and get possibly more than the 1.5 million? How much will he make in his next fight if he doesn't fight Quigg?
The problem I see here is the better fighter doesn't have the better promoter or the better TV network. If Frampton was with Hearn and Sky, the fight gets made pretty easily.
the 60-40 split wasn't for the whole show it was a purse offer, so frampton would have got 60 % of what ever the purse was and quigg and hearn would have got everything else eg ticket sales and ppv's that is irrelevent , quigg would make way less than him too in his next fight, just because he would make less money fighting someone else doesn't mean he should jump at any offer even when it is screwing him
I don't think you were correct with your first point, I didn't hear or read anything where they said that. But then his team should make a better offer, Eddie and Quigg have the edge with TV and they have more money.
iv also never read anywhere where hearn said the 60-40 was for the whole show just the purse well what would be a fair offer for quigg in pounds do you think?
Frampton of course, IMO Quigg is a hypejob and I'm pretty certain he's ducked Frampton multiple times in the past.
don't think thats fair too say as we don't really know the facts iv a feeling eddie is trying to piggie back off framptons popularity with these publicity stunts to try and make quigg a bigger name as the offer is well poor and unreasonable. If he wanted to make the fight happen he would be negotiating not stuff like that
All he said was 60-40. Like Hearn said, they can't come near 1.5 and they won't, they have yet to deny that.
