I was reading on a different forum where Lara's wife posted that Lara is sparring with the same guy that prepared Martinez for his last fight. Anyone know who that is?
Not sure who it is. The main names associated with Martinez's sparring were Austin Trout, Victor Cayo, and Daniel Santos. I don't know if any of them would be available for Lara though. Trout just had a fight and has a bit of a bad history with Lara. Cayo is supposed to have a fight coming up against Peterson, and I'm not sure how useful he'd necessarily be given how small he is. Santos would be my best guess if it's one of those three, as he doesn't have anything on the horizon and his height would probably be good preparation for Williams (though of course he's not as tall as him).
Yea i think Santos makes most sense. But she said it was an American, and Santos aint American, he's puerto Rican. hmmm...who knows. Thanks
Update. Somone mentioned on the forum it is Gabriel Champillo, a 6'2 light heavyweight. hmm....not bad and tall and heavy. Hope the sparring isnt too rough on Lara
