Joe louis has the best chance against old foreman and even him would not finish the job

 

Why would Louis have a better shot than Wladimir Klitschko or Anthony Joshua?

 

Why?hands speed,accuraccy and light years above them in skill?. Much better combo puncher and much greater finisher? Only it

 

Louis was less cautious than those two, he would have tried to knock Parker and Fury out, Wlad was scared of being countered by Fury who had nowhere near the power of Foreman.

 

Its hard for me to picture any of them stopping him. Bowe when he was on top of his game may have been able too. I think Lewis in the early 90's would've had a real tough time beating an older George or stopping him. Once Lewis came into his own in the later 90's I'd give him a chance to stop the older Foreman still I think Foreman may have been able to give him a good fight even at that stage of their careers. Ike Ibeabuchi with his workrate and strength may have been able to stop Old George. Tua I think would have a chance with his one punch power. Tyson I think had the best chance of them all in the early 90's late 1980's I could see him getting Foreman against the ropes and finishing him with a flurry of punches. Still all the scenario's mentioned I think it would be much more likely for the older Foreman to go the distance and hold his own.

Who are we kidding here??? Prime Mike Tyson vs comeback Foreman would be like a buzzsaw vs a big piece of timber or a Gatling gun vs a one shot at a time musket from the 1600's. I wouldn't wish that cruelty upon old Foreman.

Even Mrs. Foreman was against George fighting Lennox Lewis. She knew like the rest of us that it was an unholy massacre waiting to happen. And she would have been the one tasked with nursing him back to health.

Prime Bowe beats him up. Beats him up. Foreman would be too slow to keep up.

Tua and Ike had the power, but Foreman has a better chance against them.

 

Old Foreman is all smoke and mirrors...........he fought nothing but bums/has beens.....got a title shot against a medium puncher in Holyfield who just started his PED abuse which he perfected later in his career and was beaten from pillar to post....fought some more bums, got another shot and was out boxed by B- level Tommy Chin.....fought another can and got another shot against a feeble minded glass chinned Light Heavy who he finally landed his lucky Hail mary in the eleventh hour.......rather fighting ANYBODY worth a lick afterwards good ol Foreman had the belts stripped from him instead......struggled/ gift decisions against ham and eggers like Stewart, Saverese, Schultz and the mighty Crawford Grimsley are the recipe of Lewis, Bowe and Tyson to shake in their boots.....or not except some plain dumb Foreman boot lickers who think they know better than the old man.......he knew he would not see the final bell against ANY of them.....the all would do a real number on him, pure target practise on the slow as molasses Fossil, Tyson /Bowe would flat out stop him, Lewis would force a ref Mercy stoppage because he is not as aggressive as the other two but nevertheless , Foreman would take career ending beatings.

 

So I guess especially YOU have seen it then.

Wow. All of them could have.His pretitle fights were ok, but a lot of lesser guys who he outweighed, which helped him punch guys around. Foreman did handpick very well in his comeback. I am not knocking him as much as his title fights were winnable and he won 1 of 3. Evander -small heavyweight.. still lost a decision. Morrison-rather limited hard puncher with questionable chin.. And Moorer -former light heavyweight.. All those guys in your list could punch. I think Mike Tyson and Tua had a style George could beat, but he might have to go through a hard punch or two. I always thought that was a fight Mike should avoid. Bowe? I think beats Foreman and I am not a Bowe fan.. Lewis stops him. Ike? pick em. The kind of fight which puts George through hell and he retires win or lose.
