With floyd retiring, who still fights well from the pocket/ w a front foot pivot? Kovalev definitely does JDJ has him doing some great stuff with his feet. Mikey G did but he's been on ice for a while now. Ward obviously does as well. But which other fights do this crucial element well?
Video/link breh? Pretty boy loma has shown instances of this as well, but he does all sorts of special stuff.
Mikey Garcia was never an inside fighter, he was real un-Mexican-like with his unwillingness/inability to fight inside and/or go to the body, he was a pure outside counterpuncher. Same with Kovalev, primarily an outside boxer-puncher, never mixing it up close. Ward is really good inside and in the clinch. Roman Gonzalez and Juan Francisco Estrada are both great inside fighters. Check out Kazuto Ioka vs Felix Alvarado, a very good fight where the majority of it is fought inside, a rarity for modern title fights, with some good technique shown by Ioka.
