Ward has no boxing skills. Take away that head and he's ****. Martinez all day unless you allow head butting.
Man that would be a hell of a fight, but yea their path's would never cross. At 160 Ward would be too drained. He's got better skills than Martinez, but Martinez is just as talented as Ward is and Martinez would avoid Ward like the plague from fighting on the inside which I think is his weakness. Martinez has some of the best foot movement around, is fast, and hits hard. Sergio doesn't have alot of waist and head movement for defense because he's so fast on his feet and that's where Ward might capitalize on, but 160 might be too light for Ward, of course he'd gain some on fight night. I'm not sure about this one, I'd pick Ward, but just by the slightest of margins. I think he might outwork Martinez, but Martinez lands the crisper punches. He cant be running all the time he's gonna have to slow down eventually. Ward by decision.
pound for pound i'll go with ward. hes more well rounded and slicker in my opinion IMO. Martinez has alot of heart and could edge it on that over 12 rounds but my head says ward. at 160.... Martinez, dont know if Ward could make that weight
Ward is one of the best young technicians in the sport and has some of the best skills in the game today. He can fight all styles fight at range, mid range and on the inside. He can figure out your weaknesses and adjust accordingly. Log off you ****ing fool.:hi:
Ward's a better fighter than Martinez in my opinion. He can do more in the ring and beat you in more ways, but 160 is too low and he'd be pretty badly drained.
Agreed. I think Wards best chance would be on the inside against Martinez, even though Ward probably has the longer reach.
