Assume it's the same trainer based on their styles, whoever it was.. what a trainer! Was it Vasyl's dad?
Absolutely. Loma is a genius in the ring. Watching him stand in front of an opponent and duck, spin the guy, counter punch, vary speeds and weight of punches to keep the guy off balance is amazing.
Vasyl's father is a best kept secret of boxing. If he spoke english, there would be a lineup of clients.
Well that would suck. Ukraine isn't doing too good in the amateurs right now. Their Junior, Youth and Senior levels all need help. Does anyone know if they will allow Vasyl's son to take on boxing? I have seen pictures of him training and he already has an amazing form. It doesn't mean Vasyl would allow him to box though, maybe they're just letting him train for fun. His son looks about 5 or 6 years old. It would be amazing if we could see another Lomachenko in a few years.
Huck was a good CW. Old European boxing school. Serbian beginnings, combined with the German art of boxing. It was a god fight but it was the worst Povetkin of his career. He did not prepare for this fight, had an ilness and took Huck too easy. Furthermore was Huck very motivated and fought a little bit unfair, with his pushing down after the clinch. Brewster? Seriously? Wlad was drugged. Just see how he destroyed Brewster in the rematch. :good
