This same thread gets made all the time about all sorts of top fighters and is ****ing stupid EVERY TIME. Everyone a top fighter beats can be said to suck because they lost to said top fighter, who only beat people who suck and thus he's not a top fighter. By this rational, there has never been a top fighter ever in the history of boxing.

Well, it's not our fault really that you don't know them, or know much about boxing in general.


For starters, the usual opponents that would be mentioned will be MAB and EM.


Okay, back at 2003, MAB was riding as high as #3 on most P4P lists. And he is generally recognized as the best featherweight on the planet. He had just beaten among others, Naz, EM (whether you think controversially or not), Enrique Sanchez, Kevin Kelley. At that time MAB was considered unbeatable and Pac pose no threat to beat him whatsoever. Pac stopped him in 11 in a one-sided affair. And check this, all those who figured MAB is shot was proven wrong when MAB moved to 130, faced EM again (who is the reigning champion at that time and had just unified 2/3 of the title) and in most opinion scored a convincing victory regardless of the closeness of the fight. MAB defended it several times, unified 2/3 of the title also before losing it to JMM in a close battle. No shame in that.


On EM's case. Okay he beat Pac fair and square. Cuts notwithstanding. But reading his record back then, who holds those 2 lone wins over him? That's right, MAB himself. And no one else did. Yeah he lost to Raheem. But it's at 135. I repeat, it's at 135! When he went back to 130, Pac finally did him in. And no one else has done it. Not even a lightweight named David Diaz did.


Those two wins alone justify his place among the elite.

 

I hope you were looking at the mirror when you said this. If you say that Pac didn't beat journeymen only, then he must have beaten good boxers. So, wtf are you complaining in your title thread!

Moving on.....EM and MAB may not have been in their primes physically, but they were not too far past it when they had their fights! The experince that EM and MAB had over a young and green PAC was by far more to the advantage of the great Mexican warriors and PAC still dominated them. Stop with you whinning man! Give credit where it's due. PAC has lined them up and knocked them down and we still have clowns claiming he's lucky or everyone is washed up.:rofl

Morales was shot??? He was shot even though he had a 3rd fight with MAB that was neck and neck for the most part? And was MAB shot too who just IMO beat JMM in their meeting?
