Who the #@*^$ has Pacquiao ever beat?.. (NOTE: Dates from 11-06-'07 !)

Cal over these two is not a good assesment...he defnitely isnt more talented then PBF, i dont care how you feel about PAC's wins his resume is way better then Cal's. Cal's most notable wins are obviously Kessler and a very green Lacy overwhelmed by the enviorment...not to say the outcome would be any different but that enviorment would intimidate any young fighter i believe. I would place Cal at a strong three but distant from 1 definitely and maybe a close 2.

 

He wasn't shot in the second fight. But he was sliding, fast. The third Barrera fight showed signs. The first Pac fight was like his last hurrah. The Raheem fight was the definate sign. In the second Pac fight, he was evidently not the same fighter from the first fight. Pac was much better, Erik was worse. And the result proved it, especially the former.

In the third fight, he was goooooooooooooooone.

Massive credit to Pac for the second fight, very little for the third. Massive credit for the first Barrera, decent credit for the second. Very little credit for Marquez because it was a draw.

I can't believe some people on this thread, Pac has beaten much better fighters than most in the top 10 P4P, this is just stupid.

 

And who has JMM beat to be in the top 10?

 

If you don't want to get owned on your threads, don't start stupid threads. If you don't want to get called for being stupid, don't call other people stupid while with spelling errors, and certainly don't cry about it later.

Feel free to actually address some substance and not just play defense and call names.

 

you dont need to be a supernatral to be great fighter. pacman one dimensional though is actually considered a over achiever relative to his skills. people are short sided nowadays as well go back 3-2 years ago, he was heaped with praise for taking ranked guy after ranked guy. now people critize him for fighting 'old fighters' if morales etc.... were shot it was because pac shot em.

You can put a spin on anyone here when youre hating is that bad. Who is Ledwaba? Well who is Kessler and who did he beat? Fact of the matter is, at the time those opponents were beaten, they were top 15 p4p and champs. Who is Sasakul? Well who is Lacy? Both were champs and at least Sasakul was the lineal champ. Morales was too old, Pac gets no credit for that win. Sure, MAB gets plenty of credit for beating Morales yet when Pac looses to the same guy few months later, that guy is shot? Fact of the matter is, that shot Morales beat a p4p fighter in Pacman...heck he nearly even took a title at 135 after a trilogy of war with Pac. People harp on about Raheem but that fight was at 135 and Morales clearly came in unmotivated for a tuneup fight against a very akward and slick fighter. You could say the same for PBF beating an old ODLH...

Give me any fighter and using your hater logic he could be made out to be ****. You should need a certain level of boxing knowledge to post in forums...its obvious this guy has none.

I don't think highly of David Diaz
I don't think anybody gives David Diaz any credit for his win over a shot Morales. He has a terrible ko ratio from the mass slugging he was doing to beat Morales and EM was still outboxing him when he had the room. Morales was done and his stamina was gone by end of the fight. I even thought that he was gonna collapse before the final round from how tired he looked, and the fact that paper champ D.D. was putting everything he had into that maniacal barrage of sloppy slugging didn't help one bit.

David Diaz will get done in by any of the top lightweights. Pacquiao could beat this guy, which is why I think he needs to face the top dogs at 130, otherwise its just a disgrace. :deal

 

I agree with most of this post. And I only give Pac little credit for the second Morales fight, for the reasons already explained above.:good
