I dunno Barry. I thought the 8th round was a pick em but Lazcano took the 10th and PROBABLY would've put Hatton onto his ass if the ref didn't stop the action for a...well...shoelace.

You reckon? I thought Lazcano was looking wobblier in the 10th, especially given the way he stumbled into the corner when the ref pushed him away.

    Ah well. It's over now.

Lazcano was completely gassed but Hatton was more or less walking with his knuckles dragging on the mat when the ref stepped in.

Lazcano was pretty gassed after that though, I agree.

Maybe. but Judges dont score on what may have happened.....they score on what did and 10 seconds of round dominance without a knockdown doesnt win the round!!!!!!

You're an experienced judge and you gave Lazcano 2 rounds, which rounds did you give em?

I cant even recall!!! I didnt write them all down.......Look back through this thread and I gave him one earlier and I gave him the showlace round, but like i said earlier, I was being charitable at that.

I am not saying Ricky won every round....I am saying that its not outlandish to score it that way like some people are saying. I cant argue with 10,11 or 12 rounds for Ricky.

I really do suggest that some of you guys go take a judging course. its great. It will give you a more objective and balance view of rounds and it will also give you the chance to earn some cash too!

I'm definitely interested in the judging bit. If I get free time, I'd love to do it.

I have Lazcano rounds 1 and 10. I just wanted to know what rounds you gave him.

I think him won the shoelace round. Even POST stoppage He weathered the Hatton rally and came foward looking to do damage.

At the end of the day (copyright Joe Calzaghe) the right guy got his hand raised.

I think we agreed on the 10....but I didnt give Lazcano round 1.

I can see how someone could though.

I never score a round even. When its close, I look at ring generalmanship....thats why I gave Ricky the first.

So many times giving the first round can be like tossing a coin. Thats why I have my system
