you can call them crap if you want but jd chapman and arreola have looked good against limited competition if they can look as good against some of the upper level gatekeepers than they may be able to do something. they are both young chapman is around 23 or 24 and arreola is only 26 give em a little time and they very well could make some noise

Thompson sucks so bad it's not even funny, he's a brutal KO waiting to happen.

I'd say the best we got right now, and this is really sad, is probably Joe Mesi or Chris Arreola.. and neither one stacks up good against Wlad.. but.. but.. it's not like the other champs are actually "good" in this division..

I mean.. outside of Wlad.. the ENTIRE division sucks ass.

and also eddie chambers is only 25, he has only one loss and even in that loss he showed he has the talent to beat the upper level heavies. maybe nerves got to him no one can say for sure but if he can find the fire within himself he can be back fo sho

And who knows how he'll do against heavyweights. Same with Eric Fields.

Both need to move up for the good of the division however.

I'd say Chambers. I also think Arreola has a lot of potential.

I'd say Thompson is the best american HW now, than Briggs, Brewster, Ruiz, Rahman, McCall, Arreola, Chambers, Byrd, and Mesi. I'm not gonna mention Toney, Moorer and Holy bc they are donne.

I still think a 245lbs version of Briggs is the more likely to make some noise out of this bunch.

After this there are the prospects:
    Arreola
    JD Chapman
    Whiterspoon
    M. Scott
    Marrone
    Niño Rodriguez
    Alonzo Butler
    Mollo
    D. King
    T. Walker
    Tony Grano
    Estrada
    Kingpin Johnson
    Abell

Plus current CWs who should move up in the near future in Eric Fields and Jonathon Banks.

I can't believe, out of all these prospects, none of them will make some legit noise at the HW scene.

he's had one fight at HW and looked absolutely devestating against the limited bonin. banging him out in one round. haye will be a good addition providing he tightens up his defence because unlike some of the eastern euro boys he's got personality, is exciting in the ring and is very good with the media.

Though most seem not to even consider him anymore, I think it's Mesi.

As far as Home grown , i like Eddie, Thompson or Arreola.. Kingpin is just a basic jab machine and Briggs an uncouthe banger... Jameel fights when he feels like it and Guinn is passed his best... Golota has the ability to still make waves but IMO.. Chambers and Arreola..

Probably Eddie Chambers, although Brewster has a better chance of beating the beltholders due to his power and chin. (If he has anything left after getting hammered by Klitschko)

It's probably me, even though I'm not American and if I was a boxer I would be a 6,0ft Welterweight.
