Who think Paul Smith can beat George Groves?

Without knowing the odds... :huh

 

People talk about groves like he's some kind of monster and smith is an amateur. There is a HIGH chance a lot of people could be wrong on this one.

 

We had a mug on the forum telling us Smith would beat Degale etc etc etc.

Listen, Smith is not on the level of Degale or Groves. Quite simply he is a British Level operator as you can see from his struggle with Quigley. Degale dominated every second of the action and fought at a canter. He will just get picked apart by Groves, who can box or fight but will come into this fight with the same tactics as the Degale fight and Smith will not have any answers.

I guarantee we are looking at odds of around 1/8-1/10 Groves here when it opens up. It's a mismatch mate.

You pretty much sucked DeGale's **** after he showed your hero up, then cried yourself silly I expect when Groves beat him.

 

Groves beats Smith every day of the week

 

If Groves gets complacent, Smith is capable of causing a shock.
Being in Franks team might effect Groves. At Hayemaker he was in the clique and the no.2 fighter in the promotion...now he's the red headed step child who knows he is being groomed for DeGale to get revenge

 

Without being harsh to a solid pro, Paul Smith is below average.
