You dont win a fight by running away. Hops even took a 5 min breather cause Joe hit him in the stomach. ATG my ass.

Joe should spar with bute and get him ready for b-hop, since he wants him badly, he said "Dawson then Bute". After we can have Joe vs b-hop 2

Funny how when Calzaghe beat Hopkins, so many people called for Hopkins to retire because of how he lost to Calzaghe and was hanging on, looking for timeout (not exactly the body language of a winner). If Hopkins thought he was winning, do you think he would have been trying so desperately hard to get points deducted off of Calzaghe? Course not.
It so amusing that Hopkins nuthuggers come up with I got it by Hopkins by a point :nut, because of A Byrds score. The only thing is go on Google and type in A Byrd and see what comes up about some of her scorecards. Look for yourselves .
What we really know is that the other 2 judges scored 9 rounds the same, in making Calzaghe not a close winner, but a clear winner :smoke.
After losing to Calzaghe, Hopkins has still had a good career, but if Hopkins hadnt of fought on or lost his next few fights, nobody would be saying that they think Hopkins won.

Calzaghe beat Hopkins in America, with 3 American judges and Cortez as the ref, at a new weight, landing more on Hopkins than anyone ever, having Hopkins holding trying to get time out, denying Hopkins his usual strong finish, all sandwiched between Hopkins best wins of Tarver, Wright and Pavlik

Lets remember Hopkins has nobody on his resume as good as Eubank and undefeated Kessler, and then Calzaghe has the win over Hopkins also.

Live with it and accept it that Calzaghe beat Hopkins, Jones and Americas 2 best SMWs of the decade

Clear Calzaghe win. LIVE WITH IT

Hopkins didnt do ****. I have thrown more punches in ten seconds than Hopkins did the entire fight. Hell I had thrown more punches in a minute than Hopkins did in his entire career.

Having looked back I will say that Calzaghe won clearly but in a messy, boring fight. But I remember on the night I was very, very worried that Calzaghe hadnt done enough!

Interesting thread. Perceptions seem to have shifted after Hopkins beat Pavlik - even more so now that he beat Pascal.

    I voted "no" btw.

That fight was close but I had Calzaghe winning. Hopkins was trying to throw one punch and hold while Calzaghe is throwing combos. You know the judges are going to give Calzaghe rounds as I did. I wanted Hopkins to win but I just didnt see it.
