I can see Parker beating Ruiz for the WBO belt and then not unifying with AJ until at least 2018 maybe later because right now I don't think Parker is ready for AJ.
Parker will fight joshua any time he wants the fight it's joshua who's ducking All joshua has is power and parker is Samoan and everyone knows you can't hurt a Samoan so joshua has nothing to offer Samoan can't be kod only outboxed their heads are made of like rock they are much tougher than normal people
I'm not sold on Parker. He has good hand speed, but as mentioned above he is crude and gets hit more than he should. I think AJ stops him inside 6 rounds.
Joshua wasnt fighting with his head that night truth be told he almost knocked whyte out in the first round. He got too confident and Whyte almost made him pay I don't think he would do that with Parker. I'm not a Joshua fan boy btw I can see him possibly losing to a few of the heavyweights like Ortiz, Haye, Vlad and wilder but not Parker.
He's better than Whyte, more skilled and mobile with possibly more pop and way better conditioning, so defo yes.
Your probably right about the whyte fight mate. Did get a bit over confident after having it all his own way in the first. I m the same as you rate joshua i think hes gonna be hard work for anyone. Just watching him tho and looking at how they ve matched him...think speeds gonna be his achilles heal. Eddies veering away from haye for a reason for me. Parkers now been bypassed for klitchko. Parkers good slightly below joshua but genuinely think hes got the tools to beat him. Fast hands for a heavyweight. I dont think defensively joshua has the fastest reflexes in the world. Either way gonna be an interesting few years up at heavyweight. Pity about fury. A super eight with....joshua. parker. Klitchko. Ortiz. Wilder. Fury. Haye. And throw price in for novelty value or anyone else i ve forgot would be epic.
I think you raised some good points and I can see the thought process in all of your points but I gotta disagree with a few of them. 1) I think Parkers speed won't be an issue for Joshua as he hasn't got the power to trouble AJ, if he had both I would say your right, I mean look at the takam fight I had it one round from a draw if he's speed didn't keep Takam away who's a solid fighter but very basic in style then I don't think it will with AJ. 2) I don't think they think they moved away from Parker I think Parker's team saw a chance to get a belt by fighting an easier guy in Ruiz and took it which is wise for them because it gives more time and sets up for a bigger fight down the line probably a unification. 3) I think Hearn did move from Haye but not only because of his speed, its also his power, experience and boxing brain, he doesn't think fancy that fight because it could backfire but I think he might be making a mistake with the Vlad fight too if he thinks Joshua beats him easily. Your definitely right about the HW division being potentially a great division if the guys you mentioned mix it up, I can see all of them losing in one of those match ups but that's cool with me as thats what happens when the best fight the best.
I really like Parker, I rate him but Joshua isn't ducking him, Parker was mandatory for the IBF title and chose to go in another direction. I'm not saying Parker ducked Joshua, nobody has ducked anybody, Parker could have got his shot at Joshua early in the new year at the latest. Actually he could have forced the fight this year if he really wanted to. Hopefully they both keep winning and they meet next year in a unification fight.
If Parker takes on Ruiz via the WBO route, could an argument be made for him ducking Joshua? I wouldn't necessarily say so myself but I think the case can be made.
If Parker was as tired as he looked against Takam in the middle rounds, then Joshua gets to him. AJ has a mean streak and senses blood. We've not seen it against better fighters yet, but I think he would be very effective against tiring opponents. If Parker's stamina is actually a lot better than that, I'd say 50-50.
Agree with points two and three mate. Regarding point one i just think although joshuas a good bit better fighter than takam hes got flaws that are more subseptible to parker. Takams a decent all rounder. Josh has much better assets ie his power. But his defensive reflexes are slower. Also dont think his power of recoverys gonna be great. Hes either gonna have it his own way in the ring against someone or hes gonna fall apart when the going gets tough if guys can hang with him. Plenty of fight in josh by the looks of things but think when his legs do buckle everything will leave him. Whyte caught him and things started looking like he was gonna fall apart for a bit. He did well to recover then but think if one of the top guys got him there he ll end up paying for it. Think the klitchko fight will show us where hes at...hes definetely very good. Defo not looking at another price even if klitchko did knock him out. Only box he really needs to tick off the list is the power of recovery tbh. Still cant say for sure but the whyte fight did point up a slight problem. Maybe stamina later in a fight as a lot of people suspected with his size but its looked fine so far. Maybe struggle with it when he does start to get hit tho. Be interesting to see how klitchko deals with his power/energy tbh. Cause he is a powerhouse more so than pretty much anyone at the weight.
Not at all, coz if that's an arguement for him ducking Joshua, then if he chose to fight Joshua instead one could make the arguement he's ducking Ruiz.
Takam has crap defence too in my opinion, he's an inside fighter who gets drawn into wars yet he took Parker all the way. In my opinion both Parker and AJ have bad defence but Ajs seems to be better. AJ isn't the finished article in my eyes and although Parker seems to be compiling a better resume I think AJ has more upside and will stop Parker if and when they meet. I'm gunna slightly favour Vlad in the fight I don't think it's gunna be as easy for AJ as most of the British public are making out. Although Fury is a bellend I think people underrated his victory of Vlad, he destroyed Vlad mentally and his awkward movement, sudden combo and taunting was amazing. The only 3 guys I favour against AJ at the moment is Ortiz, Haye (if the fight happens soon) and Vlad (due to experience). Wilder v AJ is a 50/50 for me.
Vlad badly outclassed Joshua in sparring. Joshua will back out of this fight, he is just not ready..............
