Holy smokes, Rahman is even slower than I thought. Povetkin will clown him easily.

I say Rock can pull this off. He's been running 5-6 miles a day and also boxing up to 10-12 crisp rounds. Hardcore training will pay off, it will be interesting to see the weigh in, I think you will be surprised.

rock doesn't even sound the same. he was at least making sense, but his voice is different and he sounds unusually mellow and almost meek. he used to talk a pretty good game. he might just be there for the check and he might be impaired (that's hard to tell) and maybe not fit to be fighting.

That's the other problem with giving these comebacking older fighters undeserved shots after layoffs and fighting nobodies: they could be totally shot and thus throwing them in with legit fighters not only cheats the fans but can also really damage the old guy

man Rahman really seems out of it in that interview

I hope he does pull it off but this seems like his final fight

he's been weird the entire build up to the fight - he is not getting any respect over there so he's laying low. he's obviously playing on the interview on several of the questions...just wait til the weigh in then we'll talk.

He's trolling. No way he's 274. He looks way thinner. I just think he's also been there and done that, he's not really as excited about the fight as a 29 year old would be. He's 39.

I love Rahman as we all know. If I was betting, I'd take Povetkin by late KO or UD, but I think if Rahman shows up then he will have a chance to win this fight. A good one at that.

When he sparked Lewis many people got excited. He was young, decent looking, had knockout power, and could talk MAD ****. It all went away when he got drilled by Lewis in the rematch.

Glad to see the Rock getting some chances from the ESB crew. It should be an interesting matchup to say the least. Povetkin is there to be hit, especially with right hands. I wanna see Hasim bully him, push him around a bit with his naturally big frame.

I agree to an extent about the girdle. I think that was more or less something to support his back, but his upper body looks much thinner too, suggesting to me he's lost weight. No way in hell he is 274. His trainer said he was 260 about 6 weeks ago.

Rahman is shot and based on that video he's now incredibly slow. Would like to see the upset but don't expect it.

He's always been a slower heavyweight...but the fact is he will land on Povetkin. There will be big shots landed. I'm sure Povetkin will have his own offense, it could very possibly turn into an offensive war. Neither has the best defense.

If Povetkin got wobbled by huck it's very possible he gets more than wobbled here. You will see a motivated Rahman. Dont count him out and see what the weigh in brings. Not many guys get a chance to be 3x hw champ...he's not just showing up for the hell of it. You can cash that check...it aint gonna bounce.

Your comment made me want to watch the video

I love watching very good fighters when they get older and slower. they often have better more exiting fights

esp really fast combo punchers. My eyes can finally keep up with their movements and I want them to win one more because they are old and dont have many good fights left in the tank
