By that i mean after the sheikha fight(who shouldnt be overlooked) have one last big challenge to end a marvellous career....(hopefully theyd give him a shot)

Okay, roy was dominated by calzaghe-who was just too much for him at this stage...but i still think he can do it..and become a champion in another weight division

Jones wouldn't even mess with anyone at cruiser weight when he was in his prime, so i really don't think he would do it now. I don't see him beating any of the champions, especially Adamek( who he was rumored of fighting) who would knock him out probably as bad as Johnson did. I think he if was to beat Sheika, then he may look for another decent name( like Winky, Hopkins ect) and then retire.

Yes. might as well. Go after the crusierweight strap. Moving up in weight would ensure that he carried a speed advantage into the fight if nothing else.

Roy should fight BHop in a loser retires match.

    Or

he should move back up to Heavyweight and fight Vitali Klitschko who he ducked and dropped the WBA belt to avoid having to fight.

In the grand scheme of things, considering what Roy has achieved, who actually gives a **** about cruiser?

Roy should retire. This idea is utter lunacy. How much more evidence do people need before they finally accept the guy is shot to ****? He has been for ****ing years. Maybe once the guy gets badly injured people will wake up. He should've retired after the Glen Johnson fight, it was blatantly obvious then that Roy had lost it.

Why not? At this stage of his career, how much can his legacy be hurt if he loses again? Not much. Besides, he won't be fighting any Calzaghe's or P4P studs. If he wants too, go for it. I'll be rooting for him.

Just because youre not what you were doesnt mean you quit. It shows maybe what type a fighter you would have been. He made a pretty good comeback and strung together 3 pretty good wins...but thats beside the point...what does that make him if he just quits like you say he should have.

When roy was smashed with that left hand by tarver, the fact he tried to get up from it showed me what type of a fighter he is...he isnt just going to quit like that

RJJ has got a lot of fight left in him. Joe C is a good fighter and there is no shame in loosing this fight, hes a good fighter and good for boxing.

The Roy that fought CalZ compared to the Roy that fought Toney, he looked like he had NOTHING left in him. He even looked bad against Tito

although i'm one that thinks that roy has something left (and looked decent vs calzaghe until the later rounds and the cut), he should consider his health. he should probably retire because he missed his window of opportunity to really add to his legacy (which is still top notch though deficient in the competition department). but if he fights on, he should stay around lhw where i think he's still very competitive and there aren't too many big hitters

I think he has one last shot at winning a Cw title, sure he's past his prime but he can still hang with the Top 10.
