I even think Enzo, Adamek would stop Roy. He just cannot outbox people for 12 rounds anymore.

    He could beat Fragomeni though.

Firstly , i was putting a question out there...not telling him what he should do...

Secondly, i never said he shouldnt quit...i said it tells you something about these ring warriors when they dont just quit(something you know nothing about)... what would it make a fighter if he just gives up at the sign difficulty. roy can still fight- hes just not like he was...im not saying he should or shouldnt fight on-its just says something about him...

'Just quit'- i dont understand that phrase

I have almost tears im my eyes seeing Roy Jones fight nowadays. He has nothing left and he didnt look good against Calzaghe. The only thing this absolutely shot fighter could do after the Johnson fight was that he is changed his style a little bit. He protects himself with his guard high, throwing a counter now and then. By his standards, he is absolutely shot. That is not the Roy Jones i have become fan in the past. He has no feet, no stamina, no reflexes at all. His hand speed was also a lot quicker before the Tarver fights, but its the only thing thats a little bit intact. I dont like the fact Calzaghe adds Roy as another name to his record, because he sure as hell wouldnt have won against any version of Roy who wasnt shot.

I think the Sheika fight should be his last. A win in his hometown would be a good way to end a great career.

I think Roy looks at his still blazing hand speed and explosive power and thinks that this is enough to get it done. He's 100% delusional. And part of that has to do with his ego telling him to be this way because his ego doesn't want him to go out on a bad note.

please....any live puncher would put him to sleep

i shiver at the thought of a puncher like Enzo getting in the ring with Roys old glass jaw at this point of his career, he needs to retire NOW

It would be but do you REALLY think Roy is just going to retire after a win against a nobody? He's going to get delusional and think he's "back" and start talking and getting hyped up about who he can fight.

Roy can't even take the punches from feather fisted Glen Johnson. Roy would get his Glass Jaw shattered all over the ring against anyone that can punch.

If he is going to continue fighting he better stick to fighting feather fisted guys like Calzaghe etc.

Roy is at his best when he is handpicking opponents like Sheika etc.

Yes, it does tell you something about him that he is choosing to continue, it tells you that he is a dangerously deluded individual who refuses to let go of the past, refuses to accept reality, and should be protected from himself by his own trainers and management, and if they won't, then the authorities, as he is going to end up being badly badly hurt. If Joe Calzaghe had any power, Jones would have been brutally KO'd.
