Who thinks that Povetkin is "the" future champ?

Based on what we've seen so far I believe Povetkin can become 'The Champ' .
However you can never be 100% certain about these things m especially when something like stamina has yet to be tested fully .

 

From what I gathered in his last fight he went 10 rds maintaining a very high output.

 

Yes i also think that Pvetkin has the potential of becoming the new Champ.

 

I haven't seen the Donald fight but it's good news if he was able to keep going at a decent pace . However over 12 rounds and someone who's a little more active than Donald may be a little different and that's when we'll see how good his stamina really is .

I've no concerns over his chin though , he may not have fought that much or fought huge punchers as a pro but including his amateur career he's shown to have a good chin and has looked unfazed by anything he's met so far in the pro game .

 

I think he will become one of the top guys but not a dominant champ. He is certainly top talent but whenever I see him fight I don't have the feeling that he is unbeatable.

 

A title holder maybe but not the champ. Hes too small for the likes of Wlad.

 

How can anyone know anything about Solis?? He's only had two fights. I'm not sold on these great Cuban amateurs being champs. Not saying it can't happen, but I'd like to see it first.

Remember Jorge Luis Gonzales? Ramon Garbey?

 

And how many are there even close to the likes of Wlad in terms of skills concerned? Answer, none.

 

Nobody knows, you are right, but considering his extraordinary amatuer beackground and some serious competition in pro ranks already (just 3rd fight), I think it is safe to say that he is the 2nd best prospect in the world after Povetkin.

 

I think he's the brightest prospect at this point. I hope he keeps it up.

 

I don't know about "The" Champ, but as long as he does not have a Glass Jaw he should at least win a belt.
