It was very close imo most of the rounds were near impossible to score, I had it a draw.

 

only an idiot would call it a robbery.

 

It was compared to Manny's last fights but you could never expect Marquez to win when he was always waiting to punch back, never took a step forward like he did in the second fight and was not dominant technically like he was in the first bout exception made maybe for the fifth round... Marquez would take a punch and one out of three Pac's attacks would connect with a counter punch, manny always on the attack, controlling the pace, effectively aggressive and with ringside generalship on his side. It was a 8 to 4 rounds win to Manny, call it close if you like...

 

Like you guys, I also scored the fight a draw.

Because most people thought at this weight that Pac would steamroll Marquez, when that didn't happen, this elevated Marquez's performance in many people's minds.

But you don't get extra points for exceeding expectations.
