I first met Margarito in Ft Worth Texas in 1999 when he fought Buck Smith as a youngster realized his potential was ringside at the majority of his fights since then. seen his hands wrapped many many times but never seen any funny business. If I had I wouldn't have supported him.I support FIGHTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! like Margarito. I have no respect whatsoever for prima donna cheaters & cowards like Floyd. Now Canelo has taken over Floyds place as the Vegas cash cow lol

Yeah because I think you are lying about having seen Turpin v Robinson 1 live. Unless you are in your eighties, which I doubt.

When Floyd did what you described he ended up being countered by Pacquiao & when the production team at the back decided to once in a while show us what Pacquiao did in the round besides only deliberately just showcasing Floyd in the highlights you saw just some of that.

No box is like me he obviously appreciates a fighter not a fairy like ballet dancer. Whereas you seem to be just a cheer leader who really thinks Floyd was TBE

Believe me I understand the Mayweather way, he does'nt care about what anyone else thinks and its all about the bottom line for him, the win and even more important for him, the dollar.
But I do think Mayweather did'nt go into the fight planning for it to be a clinchfest. I do think that he cares alot about his legacy that he wanted to show more than just a clinchfest and barely doing enough each round.
When I rewatched the fight about a year after it happened I realized that Pacquiao's handspeed was better than Mayweather's.
I do think Mayweather is a little quicker to get off the first punch, but the quickness disparity was'nt enough in Mayweather's mind for him to be comfortable with throwing more than a punch or two at a time.

Mayweather would use that quickness to get off a punch and immediately resort to the clinch before Pacquiao could get off in combination.

Being a safety first fighter Mayweather did'nt trust in his boxing skills alone to feel comfortable in the ring with Pacquiao if he allowed Pacquiao to throw more than one punch at a time at him. Thats why you had Mayweather angling himself for the clinch everytime Pacquiao went into hit little rhythm routine where he's set to throw a series of punches.

It was just so dissapointing to me to look at a fighter in Mayweather who many percieved as the GOAT not trust his boxing skills against Pacquiao and have to resort to tactics that much lesser skilled fighters employ when they dont have the skills to employ anything else and thus have to resort to that contant clinch.

Mayweather is simply the best of his generation to me. Unlike you, who clearly is a liar, box33 is simply delusional.

You are not rattling me. I actually feel bad for Pac fans that still can’t accept that Mayweather easily beat Pac.
