who took the least punishment careerwise?

    The Mason, Mercer and Klitschko fights were heavy ones.

    But you're right, outside of those, most fights weren't that bad. Especially compared to most other heavyweights. I guess Holmes is in the same boat: a few hard battles (cough tyson cough) but most bouts weren't that bad.

    Holmes is similar, but i think his fighting on where as Lewis didn't hurts him. He had very tough bouts vs Weaver, Snipes due to the KD, a massive KD from Shavers, Norton, Witherspoon, Bey, Williams, Bonecrusher. There's a fair amount of leather in that lot and then we have post with the brutal Tyson fight as well as soooooo many fights after tho he wasn't smashed around so much. Tho barely ever stopped i think Larry took some decent leather, especially when declining around the Timmy fight to Spinks.
