Who trained Hatton against Mayweather?

Sr. was just a garbage fighter/dad/coach/person.

There was no good reason for Hatton to split with Graham.

 

I thought Hatton and Graham split as Graham's body couldn't take the training anymore?

As for Sr, he couldn't do southpaw gloves leaving Hatton with a big issue in training for Pac. Plus, he peaked too early in camp, rumours that he was dropped by Lara in sparring a week before the fight.

 

I have vague memories of the Floyd Sr thing being a disaster for that Pacquiao fight. Wasnt he late for the fight because he was at a Maccy D drive thru? And all of them sat on a couch watching vids of Pacquiao and laughing at how he only does one thing and mocking him only to be knocked out or down with that very punch.

Floyd Sr and Ricky Hatton should never of been put together, some combinations just wont work.

 

Something to do with ones worth and the other thinking it was not as high as the other thought no ?

 

Hatton did himself no favours in that fight by the way in which he tried to take the fight inside, too often lunging in first then trying to work, instead of punching his way in and then working the body from up close as I am sure was the game plan. Yes, Cortez was way too happy to call break, but Hatton made it easy for him to do so.
