I actually thought you meant "football" not soccer, I mean really I'm sure American football players training is more strenuous than soccer, although I know nothing about soccer...there's certain sports I just can not watch...one is soccer, NASCAR (if you call that a sport), tennis, volleyball and not too fond of baseball either...

In any event I'm going to have to go with a boxer trains harder...

Yes, but Floyd doesn't train like that all year round. He trains like that for 6-12 weeks every 18 months. Footballers don't train as hard, but they train much, much more. Most top footballers like Ronaldo only get a few weeks off every year because of summer tournaments like the World Cup and European Championships. Two different types of training.

The **** you want me to say that hasn't already been said?

It's impossible to determine who trains the hardest. Some elite footballers don't have to train as hard as others. Same goes for boxers. But one thing's for certain, is that there are athletes out there (including footballers) that train harder than Floyd. To say you're the hardest trainer in the world, is a bold (and stupid) statement.

Not saying he trains harder but Ronaldo also spends a lot of time in the gym he doesnt just do what you showed on those clips, he doesnt have the body he has just by dreaming about it.

Anyway its two different sports and two completely different training regimes, both train extremely hard in their respective sports.

How often does an individual get the ball in a 90 minute match, all they are doing is running around wasting energy until they get the ball, you could not possibly compare to 36 minutes in the ring taking and giving punches

I think an "elite" level Rugby Sevens Back or Rugby Union Loose Forward probably train harder, on average, than a footballer. With that said, nothing compares to training for a 10-12 round fight against a game opponent.

Yes manchester united constantly required it's footballers to do gym work as well as many over top level clubs, ronaldo welbeck, nani, obertan and anderson, all had to do gym work to help their fitness, but even that gym work and their training is nothing compared to an elite level boxers training. I can't stress this point enough.

    You think ****. You're asking:

"Who trains harder an Elite Footballer or an Elite Boxer?"

    I answered it.

But if you're that hell-bent on knowing if Ronaldo trains harder Floyd (**** knows why it's so important to you), then he probably does. A like-for-like comparison is impossible, because their training is very different. Floyd only trains once a year in an 8 week camp, whereas Ronaldo trains all year round. Not to mention, Ronaldo, in his years at United, was renowned for staying behind after hours whilst his team mates had gone home, working to perfect his game. He still does this at Madrid. So yes, it's possible that does train harder than Floyd.

    :rofl:rofl

You have no ****ing clue you clown. Have you ever seen ronaldo train because I have, his training let alone united training pre season and into the season doesn't even come close to an elite level boxing training floyd does even when he is out of camp.

Get the **** out of here you dumb **** :rofl

i don think a soccer player could last as long hitting the bag as a boxer could last moving around with a soccer ball. i dont mean to put down soccer players by any means.

hell, ive heard boxers say that MMA is even tougher than boxing training so i guess its all relative to the sport.

I have personally seen ronaldo train at carrington live and believe me it is nothing compared to the training that a floyd mayweather or manny pacquaio does. Not even close.
