Thank you. Who knows, there is probably some unknown gym rat who trains harder than both of them.

I am amazed that people are actually picking footballers in this thread.

I can only go on what I have witnessed and from personal experience, and a footballers training session isn't nowhere near as intense as a rugby training session. I use to play football and tried rugby and I have never been as tired as i was playing that sport. Intense is an understatement. I can only imagine what training and sparring would be like. Actually I don't have to imagine the likes of floyd and pac has shown this to me on more than one occasion.

It's a silly question. Unless you have first hand experience of both guys training, you are simply second guessing.

Well I have, I've have seen the whole manchester united squad on a number of occasions at carrington train, including ronaldo, I have also seen floyd mayweather jr train live, it ain't even comparable the level in which floyd trains and the level someone like ronaldo trains.

Take into account gym work which ronaldo does which i didn't see live, I have seen it on youtube and it is nothing to compare to the likes of a elite boxer training like floyd.:patsch

If you think Floyd trains harder, then I'm not gonna' argue. Because, like I said, a direct comparison is difficult to make due to the different nature of their training. Boxing, along with MMA, generally requires the most intense training of all the sports, I've felt.

But to categorically say one guy trains harder than the other (specifically talking about Ronaldo and Floyd) is impossible because none of us have been inside their camps to get an accurate account. And you are a clueless prat if you think an elite footballer's training comes nowhere near to Floyd's. They train all year round. Throw in two competitive 90 minute games per week. International games here and there. World Cup/Euro Cup prep in the summer. That all takes its toll. It's pretty intense in its own way.

I coach football/soccer to you yanks, If were talking about per session it has to be a boxer. Even footballers struggle with the sheer intensity of the boxing training. In football it's more quick work with ball/without and less emphasis on one player where as with Boxing the emphasis is solely on the fighter in this case Mayweather. As well as the fact football a lot of the training's broken up with different types of work (some intense/some very low). A lot of the sessions mid season aren't very intense due to professional clubs being scared to injury or extend player further in a long season. I remember Blackburn players doing it in pre season under Hughes and they said it's another level of training. It's so much harder on the body. That was just padwork..

Both men are supreme athelte's but if were looking at say a 1 and half hour session Mayweather will work a lot harder then Ronaldo i'd say.

Let's see... a metrosexual clothes horse vs one of boxing's elite. Yeah, i'll go with Floyd.

Both are metros and one of them is most likely gay.

Floyd once said he was addicted to pedicures ffs.

Floyd trains year-round. He just kicks it up several notches before a fight.

I have seen ronaldo train at carrington, although impressive the way works his drills the intensity and energy it takes is nothing compared to the camps of mayweather and pac when in training.

Yep I use to swim when I was younger, ****ing gruelling sport if you attend to compete at a high level. I use to swim in swimming galas for my school. The amount of training you have to put in to be an elite swimming is incredible, the stamina needed immense. Phelps must train like a ****ing monster.:deal
