I don't. At least RJJ has been active and can outbox Tito even now if his stamina doesn't fail him.

No chance at all. The only reason why Trinidad took this fight was for the money. If the fight were at 160, he might have a shot. But at 168 or 170 (catchweight?), he has no chance. He's going to look slow like Wright except a lot slower. Jones is going to pick him apart with his blazing hand speed and when Trinidad lands, Jones will laugh.

That's just the thing. Even if Trinidad catches Jones, it won't hurt Jones. So not only will Trinidad have no power but his hand speed will be amazingly slow when compared to Jones'.

Hey, i'm glad for Jones because i'm a big fan of him and he will just add another "name" to his legacy.

Tito definitely has a chance...he has always carried his power up because he knows how to get max leverage on his shots...so really more weight = more power for Tito...i'm giving Tito a puncher's chance, but i don't think he'll really pull it off...but don't write Tito off like he doesn't have a shot at all...

as hard as it is for me to admit it, being a fellow rican, i dont think he stands a chance either! however, i still give him that punchers chance!

If Jones plays the rope-a-dope then he loses, he'll give Trinidad a chance to land all the punches he wants and those punches will tire Roy late in the fight which will give Trinidad a bigger chance to land something huge and finish it. Roy needs to train and hard as he can to stay in the middle of the ring and boxing Tito for as long as he can. Jones has the size advantage here as well so he should know that his punch WILL hurt Trinidad and might even floor him early if he lands something huge. I'm a huge fan of RJJ and would hate to see him lose this one.

He does not stand a chance, but though his power will not hold up at 170 like at 147, he could still crack jones' china chin

There's always a slight chance both me have been known to underachive at moments in their career, no fighter is immune to mistakes and KO's. Though I would favor Jones in a wide UD.

Even at this stage, RJJ will destroy Tito. On paper this is the worst style match up for Tito that one can possibly Imagine.:patsch

WRONG. For two reasons, I say this.

Since he came back against Mayorga, his power has not been nearly as effective or strong. Just look how many CLEAN power shots he hit Mayorga with before the fight was finally stopped.

Winky Wright said he was shocked at how easily he could take Trinidads shots. He said early in the fight, he smiled to himself and thought "thats it, I thought this guy had power" :deal

Tito never had much pop at 160. The Joppy mauling aside, he never really displayed much power there.

For most of his fights at 160, he came in at 157-158 anyway. He needs to go back to 154:deal
