What about Pacman ? BHop and Pac have one common opponent and Pac stopped him one round earlier than BHop. That's gotta count for something. From this, I believe we can infer that Pac would execute the executioner in round 12.
Calzaghe made him want to quit. Any time a fighter is looking for a way out IMO it is as good as a knockout.
Hopkins could fight Valuev, and not only see the 12th round, but win the fight. Quote me on that. :good
Calzaghe low blowed him on purpose in the second round because he couldn't cope with the 43 yr old man. In my eyes that's cheating.
The thing with Kessler is he is a safety first fighter too. No way he sticks his neck out gunning for a KO, he would instead try to jab his way to a points win (unlikely). Id give fighters like Cloud or Diaconu a 1-2% shot of catching the aging BHop with their Sunday punches, but Kess literally has no chance because he does not press the issue, it's not his style.
Saying Adamek is absurd. He is a slow ass fighter that likes to hook and swing. Knowing that hooks and swings make slowness even slower and there is no way Hopkins is KOed by a punch he sees and he basically cannot avoid seeing everything Adamek throws even if he tried. Adamek is one of the ones with the lowest chances. Only nuthuggers like Axe will even mention him in this relation.
I don't even know why there is this thread because we all know that Calzaghe was on the verge of stopping Hopkins. Hopkins did the right thing by buying time with his fake low blow. If not for that, we wouldn't even have this tread. For those of you that really believe Hopkins would have survive to hear the 12th round bell end, you guys are :nut. Hopkins was tired as FXXX and looking for a place to hide from the white executioner before he put on his oscar moment.
i cant think of anyone because i dont think theres anyone around at the moment with real KO power in both hands which is what you need because hopkins is such a good lateral mover and such good footwork he'll completely neutralise your best punch (tito left hook, pavlik right hand)
AA theoretically could in regard to his punching power, but he would've a hard time to hit BHop flush. I can't think of anybody who is fast, versatile and powerful enough to KO BHop.
i cannot see anyone stopping him around that weight class, arthur would get abused, hopkins would keep him at range easily if ANYONE i would very slightly go for kessler he has the physical tools but thats it
