He's very good for boxing and very exciting to watch.

What I want is to see him face a world class puncher with a good chin, a world class pressure fighter with a good chin, and an all-round-very-good B+ fighter, in that order.

Those fights would be great to watch!

lol i don't think he's as arrogant as i thought he'd be as most young fighters are, but when kman asked him bout his style if he'd work on his defense all he said was that he was comfortable with his style and that everyone has their own opinions. that could be taken several ways but it's obvious he needs defense cuz if he does decide to stay as a puncher, which is a an exciting style, he's gonna get caught and in one of those exchanges is not going to get up. i like the little guy and hope he gets far and not become bigheaded

if he will never be half of Hamed was remains to be seen,Hamed was knockedown by lesser fighters too and was also involved in some awfull fights.
by your post it seems you base your opinions on fighters based on what others say and not at how the fighters fight.

i dont know what will Gamboa acomplish or if he has a bad chin or not,but everytime he fights i will watch cause he comes to fight,with his talent he could choose to run around the ring like some other fighters do but he doesnt.

How in the world could you wish ANYONE in the world to get KTFO, except if that you are a loser yourself. I mean, are you people frustrated in real life or something? Is suicide something you already thought about? If someone's attitude disturbs you that much that you want him to get KTFO, seriously you need to check yourself. Let the man be... He has amazing talent and there's nothing bad about being confident. When Mayweather was up there I couldn't stand people criticizing him, same thing now that Gamboa is getting the light. Honestly, you haters are inferior people in my book, and you are the ones who deserve to get KTFO. Anyone with a brain will look down to you, and you deserve it.

 

This is just bizarre. The kid is GREAT to watch and is capable of doing things offensively that no other fighter today can. Why the hell would people want him to fall at the first hurdle? :nut
