I'd much rather see him develop into a solid pro than see him ktfo. I don't like that he has been pushed into the mainstream so quickly.

Gamboa or any other up and coming fighter is not responsible for the hype he gets.

And most important, if a fighter doesn't fight the way some think he should fight, that doesn't mean he needs to get KTFO.

Boxing needs more Gamboas and more talented fighters in general.

yes you are totaly right boxing needs these guys who have amazing ability it attracts more new fans to the sprot, alot of the hardcore boxing fans dont like but that does not mean we should be waiting for him to get knocked

he reminds me of the prince and how alot of peeps used to watch his fights just to see if he is gonna get KTFO and he did eventualy lose to a ATG
i have to raise my hand though and admit i am one of the peeps that would like to see him KTFO and i knows its wrong sorry

I don't want to see him KOed but he has already shown he has Chin issues and it is going to happen. Hopefully the nuthuggers won't get too attached to him before it happens.

I like Gamboa..he is very exciting, very fast..he comes to fight and finishes fights. I think people confuses this with being "great" with all the flash and the hype...he was a great amateur but he will most likely not be a great pro stylewise...but he will be a champ maybe even p4p...

Ill say this..Ive bashed Hamed here in these boards like no other because partly Kevin Kelley was my neighbor and partly I thought pepople tend to overrate him... Gamboa will have ways ..ways to go to reach Hameds status and yes if the two fought at 122-126 Hamed will KtFo him...

wishing somebody to be knocked out...thats just lame

Hell no. He's exciting, he's good for boxing. I'll support the guy whether he gets ko'd or not. He's a star in the making.

Compared to Roy Jones?, wake up man. Whoever made that comparison is an idiot, Hamed doesn't come close to what RJJ was.

Also, I am also surprised you found Gamboa arrogant but Hamed isn't. So what if both guys were arrogant?, he obviously knows how to gain attention and is taking advantage of it like others before him. Almost all great fighters were arrogant at some point.

Gamboa doesn't strike me as "arrogant". It's not like he's coming into the ring riding a magic carpet and doing flips in the ring. He's super aggressive and fearless. He's confident in his abilities and there is nothing wrong with that. How anyone can look forward to seeing him ko'd is disgusting. He's exactly the type of fighter that makes you step back in awe because he can destroy people but at the same time can be vulnerable. If you noticed everytime he's knocked down he recovers very quickly and comes out even more aggressive. I see him in some FOTY's soon.

We need fighters like Gamboa taking risk, he is a very confident young man who believe in himself some people call this arrogant his nickname cyclon is perfect I would said a category 5 hurricane coming straight on you with bad intentions he possess a good arsenal in close range that uppercut last night was a beauty.

Untrue. You lie or didn't watch it.
They began comparing Gamboa to Jones but admitted that the comparison with Hamed was better (because of the flaws). Still, Lewis said Gamboa has more skills than Hamed...Bye bye.
