It appears this fight must now be made to settle old scores. Does Hopkins have enough in the tank to outwork Roy? How do you see it going down?

I say he should fight Roy, and retire. He should stay away from Calzaghe and Kessler.

It's a damn shame Bernard won't just accept the 50/50 split for the chance to get in there and take Roy to the yard. Roy, then the winner of Calzaghe - Kessler. At 43.

I think this would be, by FAR, his best course of action. It's really the only fight that makes sense for both guys. I give Jones a shot, but not much of one.

i think they should fight each other at the end of the year. :yep

just get it on and settle it.

the winner can take on the calzaghe-kessler winner next year.

Roy looked a lot fresher in his last fight than B-Hop did tonight (notwithstanding his legs, which looked equally shot). Of course, Roy has to step up from ESPN level fighters before we really know what is left in the tank. At this stage of either of their careers, though, I don't know what it would prove. If they both insist on fighting, I'd like to see them try to finish their careers against someone in their primes as opposed to super-fights with similarly situated guys on the tail end of the hill.

Roy still has his handspeed and power so if his stamina holds up it can still be an interesting fight which really needs to happen. It will be a big fight between two big names and who knows maybe Roy has B-Hop's number due to style conflicts.
