Was AA going to the US to fight Miranda not meant to boost his profile there so he could go back and fight pavlik. Personally, I more think it's 80/20 in Abrahams favour but thats just my opinion. It would be a bigger fight at MW when it would be for the (more or less,) undisputed title. Both have fought at catchweights above the middleweight limit recently and if they waited until they had both moved up to SMW permanently it wouldn't be the same draw when there is Kessler et all around.
It could be fight of the year. Why won't Arum go ahead and make this? He's probably going to try to feed Duddy to Pavlik first.
That's why I am writing fight reports...don't want to be a propagandist. Btw, I finished "War, baby" 2 weeks ago. Now I've started reading "The Sweet Science", though it's a difficult read for non-native speakers and I also never had the pleasure to learn Latin as Liebling used it a lot.
It would be nice but would rather see each guy fight a few fringe contenders with padded records for at least the next 2-3 years. If the interest is still there after that, then maybe they could fight. Unless Winky Wright decides to end his 5 year layoff and give the public the treat of watching him fight one of these guys.
Just looks that way since he has been fighting lower level competition. AA's resume is a tad thinner than Pavlik's, who has been in the ring with better than AA. Both could use some better competition. That is each other. Looks like Pav may be fighting a money fight next. We shall see.
Just got back from a long walk/jog. Catching up a bit. "Word" is that Kelly "may" do a money fight next. Nothing solid.
