A fight that close needs a rematch. You can't just ignore that.

    no one...

he runs. i like fights when the fighters come to fight. he came to run. i know its defensive boxing, but it's boring boxing. canelo won because he was the aggressor. it will be the same in the rematch

Yes Lara can be very boring, but to me, it's more important to see a definitive winner between 2 top fighters. If it's boring again, so be it, but maybe it'll give us a definitive winner.

Sure, why not. Was a close fight first time around with a result that some people didn't like.

I still want to see Lara vs Molina 2. A fight that close deserves a rematch.

Lara said he was going to bring the fight to Canelo, but instead chose to run from rounds 3 on. He wasn't even defensive, he was simply evasive, refusing to sit on his punches, and choosing to use his feet more than his fists. I have never seen Lara run so much in a fight.

If Canelo runs out of opponents, I wouldn't mind watching the rematch.

Nobody wants to watch a guy who runs all over the place trying to steal a close points victory without fighting. To hell with Lara. I would be even less of a fan of Canelo if he gave that fraud another payday.

I'd like to see it but I think we would get the same outcome.
Instead of evaluating the first fight and working on his deficiancys Canelo is the same fighter.

The 1st fight was boring cause Canelo lacked the skills to compete.

    Lara's accountant...

But let's be honest here... Alvarez would be grilled for taking a match against Lara again.

Erislandy has slowed down and Alvarez has improved & become a better fighter than a couple years ago.

    I'd watch it... absolutely tho.

But a waste of a fight for Alvarez at this point

    This.

I wish more people would realise this. Yes, we all like entertaining fights, but I would have thought that we all liked to see who is the best. Just because a fighter or a potential fight is viewed as boring, it should still take place if it is relavent.

I think alot of it depends on if you can convince everyone that its a fair rematch, the way things have been in a few canelo fights the general consensus is that if you dont knock him out you dont stand a chance if it goes to the cards.

What would be the fight tag line for this fight?

    Battle of Mexico vs Cuba?
    Redemption?
    Caneloweight Championship?

This is a potential problem in close fights, but I do think it has been overplayed.
