Personally i dont like the match up......it will be a one sided fight, it's just a waste of time SSM is old. Few people wants to see this fight happen and why are they still pushing for it?
why is it that old boxers just want themselves to get beaten up to retirement? They really don't know when to quit

  2. Mosley is the toughest fight for Pac out there aside from Floyd or Sergio.

    Mosley beats Berto and Marquez.

Mosley is old / shot , so no. Pac should just wait for Floyd to find his balls.

Mosley has a fair chance to really render a Mayweather-Pac fight pointless.

i've been a big ssm fan for a long time. i don't want to see this fight. i don't think he's earned it...but then again neither did margo. its arum keeping it in house. they'll hype the **** out of it and mosely will get the pay day v. pac he's been bleeding for since he agreed to come down to 142 for the fight. so i guess in that regard its a small victory for ssm that he'll probably get the fight at 147.

nonetheless...others deserve and have earned the fight other than shane. jmm has earned it but at 147 it may not be much of a fight. berto has at least won his previous fights despite not being nearly the household name ssm is. maravilla is not only the goods but is a hot name but is too big. williams has been talking about it but just got put to sleep so thats not gonna happen. pbf won't for whatever reason.

so at the end of the day...the answer is no. i don't want to see this. but i also recognize that it makes sense for arum to make it from a $$ standpoint.

    but i hate it.

Mosley really is finished as an elite fighter, the only thing he has is an early puncher's chance, which likely won't happen. I'm sorry but 3 yrs ago a much younger Mosley was too old for Cotto, I don't see this version of Mosley even being competitive after the early rounds. IMO it would be like a cross between the ODLH and Margo fights, Mosley just doesn't have it anymore.

i think a cotto rematch would be more competitve (albiet a pac victory nonetheless). if arum wants to keep it in house and make $$, this would be a better fight (and rematch). i can't tell you i'd like to see this rematch either but between the two id rather see a cotto fight.

i truly think the mosely fight is stupid.

I didn't watch the marg fight live, but I will watch this one live. Mosley didn't get caught trying to bring weapons into the ring. Like the Clottey fight, I won't be paying for this one.

harder fight than clottey or margarito..not hard to see that really..

mosley has done more to prove he deserve a shot over both of pac's last opponents...furthermore shane is top 3 in pac's division and top 15 lb 4 lb...something clottey and tony were not...plus mosley has "power" in his punches...something tony and clottey did not..

so shane is old and beats margarito who is worthy....

this is a bunch of excuses..SHANE DESERVES IT MORE THAN CLOTTEY AND MARGARITO AND THERE WAS NO BIT34ING ABOUT $HIT...SHANE IS WAY MORE PROVEN AT 47 AND MORE DANGEROUS...

LMFAO..."SHANE IS OLD"...U SOUND INTIMIDATED REALLY.

I LISTED THE FACTS...:hi:NOW DEAL WITH THEM:deal SHANE MORE DESERVING OF A SHOT, A BIGGER NAME, MORE PROVEN, MORE DANGEROUS, A BIGGER DRAW, THAN EITHER TONY OR CLOTTEY:deal

This thread has been done like 3 times in the past couple of weeks but basically I believe that SSM will fare much better than people expect since Pacman is a) a southpaw and b) likes to fight. This means that Mosley, in turn, will a) find a home for that straight right and baseball bat left hook early and often and... b) relax and let his hands go.

As a result, I predict that we'll see the Sugar Shane that took Cotto (at his absolute peak) to the brink rather than the guy who looked tight and uncomfortable against Mayweather and utterly unmotivated against Mora.

I'm a huge Miguel Cotto fan but I had the fight scored as a draw and some thought Shane even won it. My point is that SSM is still very dangerous when matched up properly.

No, Sugar Shane is not top 15 P4P anymore...

And no one would argue that Shane is not more deserving than Clottey or Margarito. That just goes to show you how truly weak and undeserving his recent opposition has been.

I don't. even vs floyd he looked old for the very first time. I would like too see pac vs berto or pac vs canelo. simply pac vs a young hungry well conditioned good puncher.
