    I’m not talking about who would’ve won, Groves was a much bigger guy naturally than Billy Joe Sausages, but who was the better fighter? Was Groves a better super middleweight than Billy Joe was a middleweight
    I’m not strictly talking resumes because I think they have pretty similar resumes, no outstanding win (Groves got it robbed from him from Howard foster to be fair) but who was also the more talented fighter

    Saunders is the better overall boxer imo but he was a lazy fat ****.

    If he had the same professionalism and dedication as Groves this wouldn't even be a discussion.

    Groves definitely. BJS barely scraped by a green eubanks jnr, whereas groves took froch to hell and back.

    I agree he had more natural talent and skill, groves had big power and was a better athlete, I’m here with two people and one is convinced groves was much better whilst the other is convinced that Saunders was much better, so I’m gonna let the poll decide

    Groves. Being a fighter isn't just about natural talent, it's about grit, professionalism, and graft. If it wasn't, Froch would have been a 2-58 journeyman.

    I think a fully motivated Saunders would’ve outboxed Froch for large proportions too, not saying he’d have won but that’s a difficult fight for Froch too

    Of course but the question was who was more talented/skilled. Of course when it comes to dedication Billy Joe Sausages is hardly Rocky Marciano

    If your question is who was more talented and skilled, then it is obviously Saunders.

    Why is that so obvious? I’m not disagreeing but it’s not like I said who was more talented Sugar Ray Robinson or Conor Bum. Groves is currently 5-1 up on the poll so Saunders can’t have been that much better than him can he?

    Ah, not to be argumentative, but your question was "who was the better FIGHTER"?

    Saunders, while a repellent individual, was almost certainly much more naturally talented, but when all factors are taken into account, in my opinion, Groves is better overall, with a better level of opposition

    As a super middle groves naturally the much bigger man. Billy was best at middle

    In terms of boxing ability Saunders was leagues ahead.

    Saunders one of the most naturally gifted fighters the UK has produced but wasted his potential by being lazy and fat.

    We saw how he gave canelo a good run out boxing him in periods whilst having a career lacking dedication. No doubt in my mind if Saunders had half the dedication canelo had he would be up their with the very best of his era.

    Easily, not even close. Saunders is slept on an unbelievably gifted boxer. Such a waste. He was like a middleweight fury, just raw ability and fat as a pig to boot haha
